Nutella Mommy Party

My daughter is ADDICTED to Nutella, so when I had the opportunity to host a Nutella Mommy Party, I could resist.  What better way to score HUGE brownie points with a teen?!?!

Are you familiar with Nutella?  Nutella is a tasty hazelnut spread that contains quality ingredients such as skim milk and a hint of cocoa. Nutella® spread on whole wheat bread, or any multigrain product, with orange juice or skim milk is a good combination for a balanced breakfast that the entire family will enjoy. Nutella contains no artificial colors or preservatives.

I was so happy when my Nutella box arrived.  I immediately started plan a fun night for me and my friends.  They sent the coolest bio-degradable travel coffee mugs.  I have a “no more plastic” rule at my house.  I try hard (VERY HARD) to not bring any plastic into my home.  This was a cool perk for me!!

This is what greeted my guests when they entered my home.

Nutella Mommy Party

As a busy mom of a teenager and grade school-er, I was all too happy to have a night to celebrate mommyhood.  I had a few extra goody bags since some guest were not unable to attend at the last minute, but they were sent home to give to aunts and moms and neighbors.

For a snack, I made a childhood snack that my mom made for us.  Spread peanut better on a graham cracker, then top with a marshmallow.  Roast in the oven until marshmallow melts and is toasty.  For my Nutella party I substituted Nutella for the peanut butter.  I have to say, it was delicious.

Thank you Nutella for allowing me to host a Nutella party.  I really enjoyed it.
