2011 Reading List
My New Years Resolution for 2011 is to read more. At one time, reading was my primary hobby, but kids and crafts interfered. It really bothers me to hear people talking about books (Harry Potter, Twilight) that I haven’t read. This year, I will remedy that.
My reading list, in no particular order:
- The Big Five by John P. Strelecky
Little Stalker by Jennifer Belle – No good, I couldn’t finish it.- Comfort Food by Kate Jacobs
- Between Here and April by Deborah Copaken Kagan
- Extraordinary Circumstances by Cynthia Cooper
- In Secret Service by Mitch Silver
- To Kill a Mocking Bird by Harper Lee
- Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchel (Again)
- The Eight by Katherine Neville (Again)
- Glass Castle (recommended by my MIL)
- Harry Potter Series - I won’t read this until it is released as an ebook.
- Twilight Series
- The Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins (recommended by Jen of The Broke and Bookish. Oh, so good. Can’t wait for the movie.
- Sam’s Letters to Jennifer by James Patterson. (recommended by my MIL) Read 01/21/2011
- Can you keep a secret? by Sophia Kinsella - Read 2/2011
- Remember Me? by Sophie Kinsella - Read 2/2011
- By the Sword by Mike Yorkey & Rick Myatt
- Too many digital books to mention.
- The Lincoln Lawyer – WAY better than the movie.
- The Help – I received the movie as a Christmas gift.
- Tiger’s Curse Series by Colleen Houck - can’t wait for the 4th and final installment in 2012!
- The Alchymist by Michael Scott - I’m am half way through listening to this (Audible). Good, but not great.
- Michael Vey: The Prison of Cell 25 – I listened to this frm audible. I know my son would love it too. I was right. Good family book.
