What’s your plan?
I find it easier to stick with my diet, if I take a few moments to meal plan. This weeks menu is as follows:
Thursday – Hotdogs with kraut, chili & sliced block cheese; cobbed corn, cheese doodles (yeah, not on the diet, but the kids love ‘em)
Friday – White Chicken Chili, Bean burritos & nachos
Saturday – Baked Pork Chops, snow peas, boiled potatoes & a salad
Sunday – Meatloaf (made in my new Lodge drop biscuit pan), roasted potatoes & mixed veggie casserole
Monday – Waffles (cub scout night, so we are always pressed for time), scrambled eggs, & venison sausage
Tuesday – Salmon patties (a childhood fav), mac & chee, salad
If I freeze leftovers, I have lunch for me. For family lunches, bologna sandwiches, Tuna Salad, etc. The kids eat breakfast at school.
In the freezer for next week:
- Whiting fillets
- Ground beef – 3lbs
- Whole Ham
- Whole Turkey
- Chix breasts
