Times have changed….

I have a confession.  I love Thrift Store.  I bought this book a few weeks ago.

This picture caught my eye and is the reason I bought the book.

I love Burberry plaid. I would totally wear this outfit today.  I especially love the boots.  Imagine my surprise when I found this picture.

Times have changed.  A book editor would NEVER use this picture today.  While a few years ago, I might have found this picture cute or maybe questionable.  Today, I find it revolting.  Incidentally, here is the publication date.

In 1975, I was 7 years old.  Thank goodness a lot has changed in 34 years.
