Handmade Tea Towels

My kitchen needed sprucing up.  If I wasn’t practicing (practically a slave to it) Forced Frugality, I would have ran to Walmart or Target and purchased new towels and pot holders to spruce things up.  Well, that’s just not in the cards right now, so I have to make do with what I have on hand.

I rummaged around and found 2 coordinating prints and got to sewing.  This is what I came up with:

Reversible Cotton Tea Towels for my kitchen.  I had enough fabric for 5 tea towels. 

I even have enough fabric to make a table mat for my kitchen table. 

Here are my new towels on my stove. Nice, eh?
